I mean get real. this thing is doomed. there isn't even a beta in sight for it afer how many years now? I think even shadowbane was out and had ten times more to show then this thing does.

Age of Conan and Warhammer are not open-ended pvp games. Conan is a single player game with online content for an end game and warhammer seems a lot like doac or wow to me. Neither game offers the kind of game play I am looking for. If I were interested in either of those games I would still be enjoying wow or looking to play a game like vanguard or whatever they are calling ROT now.

AoC and VG are both lvl based and at least VG is also item based, so FFA pvp will always be crappy there. It wont work. I can allready see the forums there... "WAAAAA evil gankers!"... "nerf paladin!!!111"... "giev safezones!!!1".

No safe-zones, full loot and not having to kill monsters to become a master crafter is something that aoc and vanguard and warhammer won't have. Plus, FFA in a level based system isn't very fun. Level based = item based pvp. Anyways, can you post a link saying AOC and Vanguard will have FFA servers? They said they wouldn't a few months back when I read their stuff.
AoC won't be opening FFA servers at launch, they have said "once the game goes live" which don't really sound like "at launch".
Anyways AoC is all about instances and pve... pvp is second thought at best. PvP sounds so staged, like arena's, bar fights and battleground-like keep fights. Booooring...

Why do you care what happends to it, you don't want to play it, you made that perfectly clear in the post I have quoted.
As far as I go, I love the idea of all the features they say that will be in it, as for it taking some time, so, just because its not rushed does not mean its not going to come out. And will it hurt me if it don't come out?? No because I have lost nothing, actually if it is all vaporware, maybe another company like say blizzard will be looking at the potential of a skilled based pvp game like this and decide its time they filled the gap in the market.
As i said, this is a win win situation, if it comes out and is as good as it says, then i have found a new mmo, if on the other hand its just lies and never comes out then i have lost nothing.

Their site is still "upgrading" (lol), while on the other hand, easy remarks like those are just shit thrown in the fan. If they need a year to make a simple web page, I can imagine why it takes 7 years and then some for the real game. My 2 cents remark... let the flaming begin.
