Excellent movie. It shows how flawed the system is to allow such one-sided ganking. Words often times can't describe how lame something can be.. movies, well they really let you experience it almost as if you were there.

those things only happen in Beta. in Retail, there is a pretty heavy penalty at killing people 4 levels lower then you.

yeah the panalties is nasty (also atm) imo. cant join/form group f.x and it's a pain if you want to power lvl fast(auto-loot group with group buff).

so i guess PK's gona do it the UO way in retail. i.e one red  char when max lvl and one normal.

Thanks Derec; where did you get that Archlord manual from? I had been seeking out how the PvP works.

Google and the Archlord website don't show any manuals for me.

Intersting system to keep ganking in check....

How easy do the points come? If I was level 30 for example and killed a lvl 1, how many villian points would I acrew?

Looks pretty punishing for the gankers, I wonder how affective it actually is.

first, you can only PK lvl 6+ chars.

about the villiant points, i think it's 2 villian points if you PK a player who is 4 lvls below you.

the penalties are effective. atm i have to grind in places where other ppl are not visiting or i get instant attacked   hehe

and i have to use a second char to buy pots (all chars uses the same storage space ingame).

I'm Anagra. The one with the #3 rogue.

I got 156 Villain pts after that slaughter

To reduce it to back to 0 pts again so must i gather "Pardon" items that drops from the mobs.

The Pardon cards have around 2-3% drop rate. So i get 5-8 Pardon cards each day.

When i have 50 Pardon cards so can i deliver them to a NPC that will reduce my Villain pts with 10 pts.

It will take months before i will be able to talk with NPC and join/form party again

what if your flagged PVP and a player that is more than 4 lvls lower than you attacks you, do you just have to run away or don't the rogue points count in that case?

he gets purple skull next to his name, you kill him , nothing happens

That's a nice system, but I think Rogues should be able to hang out with rogues with no penalty, and be able to group and the such. That could lead to the formation of the 'evil' guilds and stuff. But I don't know, just and idea.
