It seems the devs have set out to make every profession at least as appealing as jedi and bounty hunter. Im respeccing to smuggler, thats for sure.

Not true, Jedi have armoured clothing available to them as well.

i really hope that jedi WONT get innate armour. Besides having a specific role and function, each class needs to have something that appeals to people. At least this way, people that arent interested in running PvE smuggler missions might play as a smuggler simply because they will be one of the more customizable (apperance wise) classes in the game.

Hmm that actually sounds preety interesting. I assume the hole logic behind this, is "sneaky". You walk up to a smuggler and hes wearing street urchin clothes, but under those clothes or on the inside of them he has 6mm carbonite plate or whatever, giving people the illusion that hes an easy target.

Dev response on : CH revamp = remove the ch players we have no problem


Dev response on : forced PVP = this is bad for game thats why we removed it, ? hasnt it been added back


Dev response on : testing = test servers aint used for beta test, why bother with them when people will pay on live for it

Its not that I think innate armor is bad, per se.....

It just continues to feel like the goal of the Devs is balance to the point of conformity.   If this was generalized frustration at the direction of the game which was misplaced, you have my apologies.

 But that has been the feeling i have gotten for some time now, and like i said I think that the whole concept of balance is the most overrated idea in the history of MMOOS....

lets not forget this .... once again this is somthing we had before.

Somthing that should have never been taken out and not only that, I think it would be a excuse more so then any advancement at this stage in the games sunseting.

No doubt about the game will never go up in numbers again... the last 9 months have proven what we thought would happen and what they feared would happen.

I do get a kick out of them saying "AND NOW WE BRING YOU.......... (somthing we had before) ---- TA DAAAA!"  Praise us and thank us.

I tell ya, I so wish these people would just get fired.    I have never seen such a piss poor team screw up one of the best franchises ever.

SOE should get a award for that one... "Best screw up of a franchise name ever" ---

Although that ET game for Atari 2600 is a close second.
