Is it just me, or does anyone else think that Woody at GU comics is overrated, lazy and worst of all, living off of unnecessary donations?

Huh? You don't ever have to go look at his site. If you do and enjoy his work you can throw up a donation since his site doesn't require a fee to access. If you don't want to donate you can still enjoy his work at no cost.

Where does it say its charity? You think the word "donate" = charity?

What do you do with the money?
GU is my job. My only job. So that means that the money that comes in through commissions, donations, panel purchases, advertising, etc. all goes toward my living expenses.

Wouldn't it be easier to get a real job?
Definately, but it would mean that I'd no longer be able to keep producing the comics.
