The game has improved alot since the NGE. It is not the sandbox that CU was, but I still find the PVP zones and mustafar fun. The expertise trees have given some unqiueness to the classes that have there, again not to the level of CU. The return of some functionality that was removed the NGE hit (target lock-auto fire, Player Bounites, etc..) have added to my enjoyment. The smuggler system, while refered to as a glorified delivery system, seems to have most smugglers I have talked to in game happy that at least it exist ( cant improve a system that doesnt exist in the game).
The next chapter has trader revamp, I am looking forward to this one. The description of this one looks like it has a chance to bring some from of interdependecy back and help the economy with return also of some minor form of Decay and improvement of crafted goods.
To be honest, I quit for at least 6 months when NGE came out, but now with recent changes, I am having fun again. Player base still needs help, but game play and the number of people I see on corbantis has improved over the last 2 months.
And SWG still offers space and ground combat with intense crafting. This is why I came back and still play now.
So, you are refering that NGE is not a "sand box" but CU was?
And experties, doesnt only BH and Jedi have then, if they now havent added. Doesnt that make the other classes, ehm let see, alot worse then jedi and BH?
