CoH/V?

Which one is better to get first, heroes or villains? I'm looking for something new to play and can't find a trial for either. So now I'm just like "screw it, i'll just buy yet another game without trying it first." Hopefully, I won't be disappointed again. Any suggestions which to get first?

It's a real personal thing if you want to REALLY get into one of them.  I have always had a tough time playing the bad guy for some reason, so I started with CoH.  I'll eventually buy CoV for the PvP (missed out on the good vs. evil edition my a month).

The GvE edition sounds nice except for 2 reasons: 1. It's going to cost more, and if I don't like it then I risk losing more than if I had just bought a single copy; and 2. I have to wait until tomorrow to get it I had my heart set on getting something to play today as I've been weeks without a solid game to enjoy.

Can't I just roleplay an evil guy with moral values? Or a Hero with some darkness in him?

I happened upon a couple threads like this the other day. General consensus was to go with Heroes.
