i played the first ps online on the dreamcast for over a year and there was never an pay to play think it only started when the ps2 version came out.
had some fun times on the dreamcast version with my spread needle ).
but ive never classed ps has a true mmorpg has in thousands playing at the same time on same game mass were ps has only 4 to beam down to an adventure zone.
will be fun to just see how much they will be chargeing you to play.

The original PSO was free on Dreamcast. They implemented the pay to play when version 2 came out later on the dreamcast. Just so you know...
