This is a COMPLETE rumor but I heard from a freind who'd kind of ... image

That there was going to be a .hack MMO on the console. A complete rumor that's probably not true mind you but i hope it's true because I LOVE .hack

    I've just found out it's not just a rumor it's TRUE!!!image I looked online it's already released in Japan it's called .Hack//Fragment. You can play it online or offline!!! Yeah!!!!image

      Uhhh dude, i posted this exacted thing like a year ago >.< .hack//fragment IS true, but they ARE NOT planning on translating it bacause the game was pretty much a failer. But iff u r a 100% .hack fan go buy a japanese ps2 and order .hack//fragment on the net. And where do u think i got my name??? FragmentGirl just so u know the game was released in japan like ii think it was......... the summer before last summer. So its kinda OLD news.

     Well .hack is a whole story, which comes in the form of comics, video games, and tv shows, and books. And well, you shud know what an mmo is if ur on here but an mmorpg is a massive multiplayer online role playing game. And an mmo is that, but - the role playing. But .hck//fragment is an mmorpg.

    This is the first time i have heard of  .HACK//Fragment.  I heard in another thread that the .HAck mmo was actually gonna be called The World Online imagine that.

    GU is allready out in the states, or part of it, not sure how many yet.....the anime is also on at like 5am or something on cartoonnetwork...or somthing.  I think fragment is japan only, which sucks couse I would love to give it a shot, I'd never go through the hassel of importing or anything.

    This may be old but I want to set it all right. Fragment is online. If it will come to US Idk. However fragment is not a MMO. There is no trading just you and three other fighting together. NOT A MMO. I am probably like the biggest .hack fan got all the games and shows. But yea anyways maybe they will make The World. There is one now but it isnt very good unless your obsessed with .hack as I am. It's made by CC corp. Not CC corp 2. Then in the works is also The World R:2. Which is the secound version on the world. That is what you play in .hack//G.U. Well thats it for now laters.

    I just recently got into .Hack.  And I have limited access to the computer. All I have is .Hack//Infection-Quarentein. I would like to be able to get a copy of all of the games and shows available to the US. I would do my best to look it up but I just do not have the time for it. So if you know where I can find them It would be greatly apprecieated by helping this new fan get more involved.

    Didn't they shut down the servers to .hack//FRAGMENT?

    But if you're looking for a good .hack game, definitely get .hack///GU.

    To get the facts right:



    1: There is currently no .hack mmo in the works.

    2: .hack//fragment was not a "Real" game. it was a test by bandai to see how an online .hack would work. .hack//fragment had fully instanced dungeons, and did not have a city hub. instead, it had a chatroom to make parties. it was not an mmorpg, it was an online game.

    3:.hack//fragment has closed down a long time ago. It was only released inside Japan.

    Aww thats a bummer.  I really wanted to play this game.  Maybe they will make a mmorpg in the future as I believe the fanbase is there.  And you know what all those big companies want $_$.

     They really need to come out with something like this for xbox!! They could also release for all the other things too but if they could get it for xbox then we could all play online and it would be one happy orgasmic family

    .hack fragment will not be released in the US, and because of certain qualifications for the ps2, you probably can't play it unless you buy a japanese playstation2

    Either way .hacks The world has always seemed pretty cool. If only it could have been brought to life in an actual game. if only
