Yea that whole case is frickin ridiculous.  No one put a gun to that moron's head to make him go back again and again to the game.  Nearly as bad as the old lady who spilt coffee on herself and sued McDonalds for it.  Give me a break!

*sighs* once again read the old lady/ mcdonalds law suit.  she didnt spill , accident , coffe spilled on her crotch, 3rd degee burns, mcdonalds admited keeping coffee at dangerous temps.  why she won.

i have had my accidents with coffee before, got it on clothes and it was not but not enough to blister my skin.  she had to go thru surgeries. ect. was no stupid lawsuit. sheesh. dont go by word of mouth. simply go check the lawsuit itsef.

a mother on the east coast of america tried to file this same lawsuit said because her son was so addict to evercrack he died while playing the game. Ben Stein tried to get MMO Developers to place advisory stickers cause his son too was addicted to evercrack. Me myself i played L2 for 2 and a half years off and on. the game isnt that addicting to me, on the contrary it was annoying level to 20 do a class quest level to 40 do another level to 75 do another then if your bored colossium untill you get hero then noblesse.

"Possibly we humans can exist without actually having to fight. But many of us have chosen to fight. For what reason? To protect something? Protect what? Ourselves? The future? If we kill people to protect ourselves and this future, then what sort of future is it, and what will we have become? There is no future for those who have died. And what of those who did the killing? Is happiness to be found in a future that is grasped with blood stained hands? Is that the truth?"

Wow, 3 weeks in the hospital because the game is so addictive? Is there a free trial?

    A witty saying proves nothing.

    I hope he win's tbh...

Not because I think he is right, but because he was the only one smart enough to try it, what if it does work, then he becomes a millionair, he's set for life.

And that's the brilliant part, most people don't wan't to work, they want economic freedom.

    I wish him good luck.

I think he's just addicted to the half-nekkid dark-elf chicks running around.

Not sure what to think of this whole case - it sounds to me typical for modern society - don't take own responsibility, blame others and let them take care of everything.

what happens to me, if I sit all day and game? my body? my mind? dunno, it doesn't say in the game description, so it must be okay. oops, I am getting fat/sick/injured/dumb, who's to blame? myself? noooo, how should I have known? ok, let's sue them in the typical "it didn't say it was hot on the coffee mug style".

The game itself tells you after about an hour or so 'You have been playing for an extended period of time.  Please consider taking a break'.  One of the screens when you log in says 'Please remember Lineage 2 is a game and should be treated as such. Too much game play is bad for your health'.   Dont see where this guy has any case.

Actually, the reason the old lady won in the McDonald's case is because the specific McDonald's that she bought the coffee from kept the coffee at about 40 degrees hotter than the store is supposed to - too hot for actual consumption, and it upped the severity of her burns. In addition, the car was stopped when she spilled the coffee, not moving as has a lot of media reported.

    This guy though sounds frivolous.
