Well this is one action packed thread indeed. Now iv not played Archlord yet, I will be doing soon though because i do think it looks good.
The main reason im posting here is becasue alot of people are simply just flaming the game for very minor things, such as point and click being the main form of movement, point and click has always been great and it has always been how RPG games where originally played so i see no problem with it. Come on guys atleast give it some constructive critiscism when you have exerienced abit more of the game.
I'm guessing that most people have seen a very small portion of the game only and its only in closed beta right now, so why not just go with it and wait and see how it turns out.

I'll explain again. I fixed it because it was wrong. nobody said anything about fixing because it didn't made sense.
Neocron sure was skill based at least when I used to play it. Too bad they dididnt put a little bit of money into it to make it great. It showed so much promise.
Well I played it for a bit longer just to make sure my original post wasn’t wrong.
Here is what I came up with, far worse than what I posted to start with, Please take into act that I have been playing MMO's for about 11 years now back from good ol text based ones.
Pathing is the worst I've ever seen, It tries to move straight without following any correct process like trying to go back down the hill instead tries to jump off it when it cant.
Text just doesn’t fit in the boxes provided, it looks cheap and very tacky. They took the Original version and didn’t bother changing it to work with English sentences. Don’t get me started on the sentences themselves.
Leveling was a bore. L2 was more fun I have 3 level 60+ in L2 and it was more fun.
Resolutions just prove that it is using the same Game engine as 80% of the Korean games out there. If you check out Hero online and a few others they are all using the same engine and it's very obvious in that they all have the same resolution support, almost the same options on all of them. It's like some agency out there developed a template and all of a sudden 100 small time companies bought it and tried to build an MMO.
After about 4 days of play time I got bored shitless and quit for good.
WASD movement is out of the question, it's not fluid and you still have to use the mouse to get it to work properly, so for me this is purely a point and click game.
The graphics are nice, not as nice as L2 but nice.
Given the choice of Korean games I would rather play L2 with all it's botting it's still the better game imho.
But like many have said we each have our own opinions and my opinion is this game although a great idea feels cheap, tacky and I just dont see any love put into it.
I wish those who play it all the best and hope they enjoy it.
