OK, after a little play as a wizard, I find that I'm getting poor FPS and stuttery performance with hitches. I have the game set on the recommended graphic options. Any idea what the issue is?

It's a good, massive game - but there's not alot of people around, it's ugly as hell 90% of the time and it's pretty much on minimal life support. I wouldn't dedicate alot getting into it only to have the servers come down in a year half.

That's not true at all. When I played vanilla and Burning Crusade, guilds were essential for organizing end game raids.
My selected character for the forums is a WoW character, and my WoW account is inactive. Maybe once I'm actually able to log in to D3, I can create a character there and select it for the forums?
OK, it's back up, still logged, but the "Create Thread" button is still greyed out. When I hover over it, it says "this game license has expired or been frozen."
