these forums seem to be a place to rant and create drama. as there is little reason for ranting or drama in LoTRO, there are fewer posts concerning the game.

i had never heard of eurogamer before this post, and i assume i am not alone. so the irony is that this "war" has likely increased interest and site traffic at eurogamer. it seems like a good site.
by "success" i meant met players' and the market's expectations. in my opinion, games such as vanguard, dark & light, horizons/istaria, PotBS, AoC and TR failed to meet their potential.

i hope cryptic can deliver, but it seems like the success rate for MMORPGS is fairly low. i wish cryptic luck.
even devs and studios with established records can turn out the occassional bad game.
