So you're telling me you can't find any difference between a quest and the other?
Because if it is so, I think we've played different games!
It's tr…

I hadn't seen the article in GameSpy that's quoted by the OP of this thread:

It definitely sounds like Turbine is thrashing.
Edit: Here's the link to the GameSpy article…

Sigh, you are both welcome to your opinions, but this post was simply me trying to help out the new people that want to give it a shot. I have been playing more or less since launch, and still having a great time, and ou…

Heyas all,
I decided to make this little guide since we have gotten a lot of responses from people that want to give the game a fair shot, but get annoyed by those that are acting immature in early pick-up groups.

Looks to me like opinion has swung away from the fanboi side. More people have played and agree they did not do justice to D&D.
Hmm... as far as I could ever tell it was always…

It sounds like you are a general MMORPG fan, and not necessarily a AD&D disciple. If you are the latter, then disregard my comments.

I love the game but it's not for soloer's, anti-social types, status seekers ect. The game is about grouping and the interaction that comes from it. Don't get me wrong, I would play it solo I like it so much but I'…

I'm not sure how a few posts on a forum can't keep you from trying a game for yourself (or get you to try it). Just because I love the game I wouldn't advise anyone to try something based on a few opinions. Try it and ma…
Some good posts here. I would also recommend the free trial if you haven't done it yet. That is the only way to find out if you like it. My biggest complaint is the nonadherence to the D&D rules. Also the character models all look alike. Ev…

When are the going to add a world to explore, so they can fullfill their claims of "REAL D&D". Pathetic.
I agree with this too. A world is important. Also the actual player races of eberron would be nice.
Just thought I would bring this back to the top. It points out many of the things I said before but I posted it shortly after release. Have opinions changed?

Amen.
The real kick in the pants is that the Drow in Eberron are tribalistic. They live in the wilds of Xen'Drik (the continent where Stormreach resides). Having a bunch of Drow roaming around Stormreach like it'…

And to prove the point, the E3 announcement essentially said, "We're pulling out as many stops as we can to pay off our debt." I don't blame Turbine for doing it. If they had been smart, they'd have included these th…

I don't see how they can implement solo content at higher levels without intrinsically changing the nature of the AD&D Class archetypes. VERY few classes in AD&D lend themselves to solo play without expensive …
I see this being the start of solo material to be added. They said from the start that D&D was never about solo play or PVP. Which are both wrong IMHO. I have done and seen both in D&D.
