I've been back in Aion for about 2.5 months...I've gotten around 5-6 gold seller /tells and seen a few messages spammed in the LFG channel. Have not seen a single bot, which is a relief--they were everywhere at release.

I resubbed a few days ago after quitting due to the bots and spam in '09. I'm still forming my opinion on the overall game, but I am happy to say that I have seen a total of zero bots and gold spammers in about ten hours of play.

A new progression server would have made me resub this past summer. It worked in '06. Unfortunately, they decided to appease the few players they have left with 51/50. Whether or not that was the "correct" decision, I don't know.
