    I would tend to agree.  But its' interesting on how each of these games are also considered by many as failed mainstream subscription games.

    I am intrested in hearing about Free To Play games that launched Free To Play. Not fail Pay To Play games listed here. Paying for content will always be fail imo. I know Eden Eternal is pretty solid and the upcomming Rusy Hearts looks good.

    Guild Wars has always been B2P.

    LoTRO is far from "fail". Paying for content may be fail to you, but the worst paid content is often better than the best free content, IMO.

    I dont think a game where you have to pay for content deserves to be called a f2p game...

    But you don't HAVE to pay for content in LOTRO. There are people who have unlocked most (if not all) of the content in the game without paying anything. You can earn points in-game, and if you are willing to put in the time to do this it can certainly be F2P.
