I see a bunch of crybabies in here. So you all crying about a limited offer that includes a nontradable weapon which is only a low S grade and a buff? If it was an R grade weapon i can understand but who cares about S grade. You all do understand that they have to make money somehow to pay their emploees and to maintain the servers right?

NCWest promised us (by the voice of Sace - CM there) that there would be NO items added to the cash shop that would give a player ANY KIND of advantage over an other player. Items added to the cash shop would be limited to only FLUFF, SHOTS and POTIONS.
The reason why OP rages is not that an S84 (next week to be S80) weapon and a couple of R-grade scrolls are handed out, but that NCWest WILL NOT keep it's own word when it comes to giving players an advantage.
Yes, we know that these weapons are overpriced (around €45 for the big package), but there´s already a lot of players buying them, only to get their hands on those R-grade scrolls at the start of GoD...
i used to have one of the Highest level Bounty hunters on Kain server
i was one of the first people to get A grade mace
and i never had to Buy Gold from farmers to stay at the top...Fuuck that we used to SLAY FARMERS and kill those gold selling bassterds all day long
looking foreward to playing this game again for Old times sake.....at least the castle sieges are very fun in this game...COntrolling a huge ass robot smashing castles is pretty amazing....but you wouldnt know until you tried it

For all those in the thread complaining. The weapons are good from level 76to 84 and are low S grade weapons. The GOD update is adding the level cap to 99. So the weapons are just that , fluff items to help you level. Any kind of major pvp won't happen until you hit the level cap at 99 at which point who cares about vesper s grade weapons? you get it now? Jeeez
I would give you a guest pass to SWOTR, but then I wouldn't be able to find a way to live with myself afterwards....
as long as the stuff is there to get you TO maxlevel, as opposed to be used AT maxlevel, i dont see a big problem.

So, when NCSoft kept insisting there would be nothing but fluff items in the shop, and things to help people level such as xp enhancements, etc... I was extremely skeptical.
Looking at the preview of the cash shop "specials" they have up on the new site, it seems my skepticism was warranted.
Within 1 minute, these two items were displayed:
Zaken's Spirit Swords - +40% to HP and MP, +20% Attk Spd and P Attk, for 30 minutes... with a 2 hour delay between use and 7 days of use.
If you buy their most expensive "exploration pack" now, before the official release of GoD, you get a bonus S-Grade weapon...
Vesper Dual Sword of Destiny (Earth) S-grade: P. Atk: 482, M. Atk: 176, Atk. Spd: Normal, Crit. Rate: 8.00, Soulshot Used: x1, Spiritshot Used: x1, Weight: 152. Can be enchanted with Destiny Scroll: Enchant Weapon (S-grade). If enchanted to level 4 or higher, increases Crit. Atk. by 109 and Max HP by 10%. Increases the damage inflicted during PvP. Earth Lv 4 (Earth P. Atk. 150).
I do recall them insisting there would be nothing in the cash shop but fluff.... Weapons are certainly not fluff. +40% to HP and MP, +20% Attk Spd and P Attk for 30 minutes is not fluff. They further insisted there would be nothing in the cash shop that could affect PvP, yet look at the line I bolded and italicized in the description above... so you can't even say "Oh, well that weapon would only improve people's PvE".
So... with all their insistance that there would be nothing but fluff and items to help people with getting xp, and leveling (pets, etc)... Right from minute 1, they're offering or promoting non-fluff items.
Not that I'm surprised. They've gone Cash Shop, so they're going to have to put items in there that go beyond mere "fluff" and "optional leveling aids" if they want to guarantee sales.
I just would rather they didn't lie about it beforehand.
Spin it, dismiss it or twist it around any way that sounds good to you ("you" in general), it is what it is. They guaranteed they wouldn't sell anything that would give an advantage to players on the cash shop.... and they already are. From day 1. I can just about imagine what will be sold or "promoted" on there down the road.

the point is it doesn't matter and to the OP stop complaining. here is how it goes " Vesper weapons, s80,s84, R85,R90, R99 final weapon level. So as you can see the 2 weapons you have a chance to get are on the low end compared to the top 3
R85,R90, and R99. So it makes no difference you are able to get the lower level weapons from the shop. Also if you join in GOD the expansion update As you level now at each grade like D, C, B grade etc. you get weapons and armor for reaching those levels. They are doing it to get people to the endgame quickly IMO !
