Yep, that's the difference. ACE raised 2.5M prior to the launch of the KS campaign to build an early version of CF, license tech like VoxelFarm (I assume they paid for it, they showed it in the video), and build a mobile game (not connected to CF). [...]
First time I hear about this mobile game that ACE would have developed after raising $2,35M.

I know CSE will deliver a quality product. However, that being said, i do have 2 concerns. How much will they market this game? In that other game, daoc, i think i seen one magazine add, and that was it. Not much else to say about that, i think it is pretty clear.

Other concern is how they will approach handling cheaters. IE 3rd party programs that have plagued other games. Odin's Eye, Autokill, Multi-Box. This can have a serious effect on community and gameplay. It still bothers me to this day about DAoC. 15 years and it is still a problem, and even when they catch them they get a slap on the wrist. I understand that it is not an easy fix, just curious on whether or not they plan to actively pursue an interest in nipping this in the butt from day 1 and stay on top of it.
    Haroo!

Here's a video I find pretty interesting explaining how they plan to have collision, physics and other things server-side to prevent exploits:

Also since the players will have to pay a monthly subscription to play CU, it will probably help a lot reducing the number of cheaters compared to F2P games.

No it won't. People like to pretend a whopping 15 bucks a month is a blocker but it's not. As a matter of fact... FFXIV before it offered free trials (do they still?) had more than enough bots and cheaters selling gold.

Same reason why people invest in EA is the same reason they Invest to cheat. They profit from it.

People don't just cheat to show off (Not the masses) people cheat to earn gold or whatever the form is and then sell it off. To boost accounts to a level that it's marketable.

Subs don't prevent cheating.  Never have and never will. Not when there is money to be made.
