"What do you want to see in Knights of the Eternal Throne?"
- Bring back cooperative game play
- PvP : mitigate STUNS and separate PvP and PvE skills
- Add back decent loot in drops
- Better writing and less "pseudo heroic" focus.
- Add UI mods
- Dual specs with gear and UI swapping
- Improve the GTN a lot...
- Either get rid of crafting or make it valuable AND fun. Also store mats in separate dedicated storage
- Ditch GSF and tunnel shooter for a true X-Wing vs Tie Fighter multiplayer game
- Allow players to tweak companion body and gear customization
- Free housing 3D items positioning +scale/tilt/pan
- Add an option to choose the XP rate not to outlevel content
- Mitigate the drop rate in CM crates / add back CM tokens
- Fix the 5 years old major bugs and the (getting old) preview gear window
Finally have some decent 2 way communication with your players.
Almost forgot: add a one button report and ignore spammers, account wide.
The sad thing here, apart the lack of polishing, is that KOTOR fans don't have an as good game as they used to and MMO ones don't get multiplayer content anymore.
Original Swtor for some time placed Swtor on top of my list along with Wow. Then all went just down. I won't play game with all my alts for cinematic questing, no matter how good it is. Makeb was disappointment, but still good expansion with a lot of QUESTING and things to do. Same Raven. Not knights, nor first nor this second. Some day I will for sure return, but unless they return to ROOTS Swtor have lost throne in my alts. Legion returned Wow solidly on throne back.
I loved playing the imperial agent but after finishing the story there wasn't much to keep me enthralled.
I don't know maybe the fault doesn't sit with Bioware as much as is the EA company cogs pushing for faster production values for better gains over quality which is to be expected.
Maybe I will revisit when they stop pushing the shop so much in the eyes of the customer, whether free or buy or sub to play not everything in a mmo has to be cosmetically bought.

I would love to see new advanced classes for each class. Adding a 3rd advanced class wouldn't be as difficult as adding a whole new class. There are already different type of Sith and Jedi in the game (Sith Reaver for example). They could easily adapt from one of those. This is the only mmo that I always expect no new classes or advanced classes from a new expansion. I would love to see that cycle changed.
Make Choice Matter? Choice cannot matter in a MMO now, the reviewer does not get that? No matter what they say they are going to do, you are not allowed to put anything in that may make a player regret his actions.
Players who regret their choices might decided to leave, MMO's are now built around the concept of not giving your players a reason to leave. It is lame and makes for uninspiring games, but that's the unwritten rule.
This game needs stuff to do that isn't spoon fed story mode. It completely lacks any system that brings the community together. It needs a sprinkling of some Sandbox elements. SWG blows SWTOR out of the water when it comes to a living breathing world.
How is swg doing?
Even dead it's better. Which says it all aout SWTOR. You can still play SWG as well, so there's that.
MMORPG players are often like Hobbits: They don't like Adventures
I came back to play through the Dark vs Light Event. Finished it and unsubbed again.
I couldn't believe how terrible the players in this game are. Having to do anything that requires a group will eat your soul.
Playing through HM FPs with people in lvl 10 gear. No augments. Having to explain to Sages what bubbles and cleanse are. Having to explain what utility points are. Level 56 tanks queuing.
All that DURING HM boss encounters.
90% of SWTOR players are no different than those people that show up to parties uninvited.
I couldn't wait to finish the DvL Event so I could unsub.
I just want a new Star Wars MMO, I have hated this game since the moment I found out it was World of Starwars... Nothing is going to fix that 'cept a new game.
Having just watched the full trailer it appears to be as I feared that the companions that did not make it back into KOTFE are to be put behind the pay wall that is KOTET. It looks as if KOTET will change its model of free with monthly installments to what appears to be a full priced stand alone dlc.
While that in itself is not a bad idea and would be preferred a stand alone dlc to the monthly installments. I just find it in poor taste to some what extort money from players just to be able to get their older and more popular companions back. I hope I am wrong and that it becomes more clear in the information that we will be getting in the coming days.

I've lost faith in Bioware's ability to entertain.
I don't think Bioware has ever lost its ability to entertain. The problem with SWTOR is that it only entertains you for short bursts and then it is a waiting game until the next burst of story. SWTOR just needs more group orientated content instead of just story although it is good in its own right.
I do enjoy the story of the game, here and there, but KOTFE just failed to live up to expectations for me. Which resulted in discontinuing my subscription.
The content was just too little to pay monthly, which I unfortunately did throughout all of the monthly chapters. 15 dollars for just a couple of hours (give or take) of new story was just too overpriced. Not only that but I felt that it didn't seem like it was well thought out. There were chapters that didn't seem to mesh well together. It almost seemed like they were writing it on the fly.
I've since changed up to FFXIV and subbing there, I'm not sure that I'll sub to SWTOR again, unless they can prove to me that it's worth it. But if the next expansion is more of the same, I'll just wait it out.
sry in advance to all the grammarnazis, im not english tonge native.
I play the game since the very beggining, im been there when we have to wait 8-10 hours just for log in. i played i think all the quest and all the characters, and i still refuse to grind any s*.
the proposal of this mmo was ambicious, story center and driven and the game in self from lev 1 to 50 was great, some classes and storys more than others but great in comparation with any other mmo out there.
and then the companion expansion come and ruins the gameplay. they carewalk the all game making soleable everything. even content of 4 ppl is doable with just 1 pal and his companion, i did it, i play the all game with a friend, and we take down almost everything with just the 2 of us.
We tryed many class combos just for fun, the only instance in witch we need some strategy to do it was that "arena" fight in Ishi for Vizla, but that was when that planet and instance where new, cause they stupid carewalk even further and even that fight right now is stupidly easy.
and all that was BEFORE KOTFE.
Cause with that last expansion the stupid carewalk is now full solo play. Cause now if u try to go in the instance in party it just bug the quest for someone in the party.
they f*up for ever the gameplay. is not challenging any more in any way.
some of the fight in the KOTFE, boss fights, has some interesting and new mechanics and they seams fun, but is still the only strategy needed is f*ing straight foward full dps and done.
Is not challenging, not fun any more.
Maybe the story could be good, maybe they bring some insteresting and new story with neats turns but the gameplay is still broken.
they kill the dificult and kill the game in the process.
thx to the carebears out there, your crys kill the game.
