It seems to me that FPS MMOs are very badly exicuted. Not that I've played them, but it seems to me that they aren't even worth getting with the reveiws I read of them.

Knights of the Old Republic, either with all Jedi/Sith as the player characters or no Jedi/Sith as the playable characters.

Actually the Jedi-only thing could really be expanded outwards, I think.

    1. Vampire: The Maqurade - Bloodlines
    2. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
    3. Knights of The Old Republic (a game based in that SW time period)

now with a Stargate MMO being made though i can't complain a whole lot =)

Well I'm going for some off the wall strange stuff.

Traveller - The old PnP Universe by Marc Miller. This could be a true original open sandbox type hard Sci-Fi game.

The next few are ideas really...

Twilight 2000 - type game, MODERN game set in a fictional WWIII. Maybe something similar to DAoC style. Open zones of warfare with everything from Air support to Armor but with the Twilight 2000 twist of everything in a state of decline and equipment being very rare and most must be salvaged. (could be a sandbox type game but RPG/Immersive would probably fit better)

Something with either a Vampire premise OR the Zombie apocalypse!!!!! These would need to be dark and brooding, Its all about survival baby! Definately would need to be RPG/Immersive.

As you can see, I think we need more fantasy crap elves and dwarves like we need more........well.............fantasy crap with elves and dwarves.

I totally wouldn't mind something like that. But I think it should be bassed off the X series. (Since that one was mature a long time ago... I miss that)

Transformers would be awesome if done right as well.

    • Insane character creation
    • Great robot and vehicle combat
    • Tons of storyline driven quests
    • Area control/conquest PvP

    Yummy!

Definately Oblivion - and it'd be cool to see Discworld turned into an MMO

I believe the battletech universe would be a great setting for an MMORPG.

I played Shining Force on Gameboy...

    Bad decision.

Was it better for other consoles?

Why is that a lot of the games that I am reading about aren't on MMORPG.com?

There is quite a few I would like to see as a MMO title.

Palladium World called Rifts( sweet table top RPG) So many ideas and so much potential

Now if they could fix Restricted Area a bit, make the character creation more open ended, and then set it in a proper cyberpunkish world enviroment then another sweet MMO would be born.

I agree Shadowrun would be grand and Fallout would be too. As for Fallout, Bethesda has the rights to it, but dont know what they make of it.

BUt, honestly, a MMO based on Palladium Rifts would be great if done right. Can you imagine how many OCC and RCC can be available? And the combinations too............

Start with Vampire add a different rule set per exapnsion.

I totally agree. Hopefully it will happen.
There is some game that's not Whitewolf exactly but it sounds similiar, (a rip off) but it's better than nothing.

KOTOR, except without anything to do with SWG in it's current state and a timeline that makes sense.  (oh and Jedi as a earned class not a freebe)

Also done in a Sandbox form with lots of reading, thinking, diversity, complexity and without Smedley in charge of anything.

    Yeah, that should do it.

Winner of the worst MMOS goes to.... the NGE and SWG..!!! http://www.mmorpg.com/showFeature.cfm?loadFeature=1034&bhcp=1
