the question is simple tho and im not asking what will make money. my question and the poll are very clear would you resub if they did. not morally, not ethically. not in a perfect world, and certainly not what some people would say on the net because of how it looks. just would you or not.
I was a CU supporter and I have to agree now, only going back to the Pre-CU would turn this game into what it was meant to be. The Pre-CU was not bad philosophically, what destroyed it was the carrot and stick approach to fixes & content and the developers not having a serious commitment to fixing and expanding upon the Pre-CU system.
The CU did alot of bad:
1- The level system was bad.
2- Making MOB's just diffrent skins was bad.
3- What they did to crafters was bad.
4- The removal of BF was bad.
5- Making armor types not important was lazy and bad in my opinion.
These are core changed in the CU that SWG could do without.
I do like the other changes in the CU though:
1- The ability to use specials arcoss professions.
2- Armor resistances were made reasonable.
3- The way they defined the Ranged combat professions.
4- The pet specials system.
But these are all things that could have been done in the Pre-CU as well. The Pre-CU is the best system to build from and if that means they have to take time to make their CU Expansion compatable, then that is what they must do.
--But it is my belief we will not see the Pre-NGE let alone the Pre-CU. The only way we are gonna see our old game is if the ducks do a good job.
--When you resubscribe to SWG, an 18 yearold Stripper finds Jesus, gives up stripping, and moves with a rolex reverend to Hawaii. --In MMORPG's l007 is the opiate of the masses. --The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence! --CCP could cut off an Eve player's fun bits, and that player would say that it was good CCP did that.

Having access to a billion $ IP - Billions of dollars.. Having access to a massive fan base of said IP - Even more Billons... Singly handedly alienating them due to stupidity - Priceless.
