Most people voted on Skyrim wow. I would say that both games will eventually have so much content that you might not be able to tell the difference unless TOR fails hard and they shut the servers down. The original post was worded odd and probably still not worth debating either way.
The PR propaganda is readily available though and Bioware says 200+ per class, Bethesda says 200+ for the game. The radiant AI system looks a bit intriguing.
I ask you, which one do you think will have more gametime playable in the end? Single Player open world with a retarded amount of content, or the MMORPG that will supposedly last 10 years? Speculation thread!
This is not a poll of which one YOU will play more, but which one will have more content playable.
Don't you mean a huge amount of content? To imply that the amount of content will be "slowed" or otherwise held back is misleading.
It might has an Endless, Wondefull Story, but im sick of medievel MMOs.
SciFi ones, now thats what i really long after.
But im not gonna burn brain cells with ToR either. Will go easy and casual.
Here's a free clue: Skyrim is *not* an MMORPG or even an MMO. It's a SPRPG in the same vein as Betheseda's traditional RPGs from the Elder Scrolls series, to include Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.
But like I said in an earlier post, comparing both Skyrim and SWTOR together is actually fair. SWTOR is very single-player oriented: NPCs filling your party spots, very SP friendly... why do you need others? LOL
Skyrim will ship with adequate content. Less than SWTOR for sure. But give it time for the developers to provide more. Not to mention the fan / mod community providing mods to other players utilizing the mod tools. Bethesda has always, ALWAYS provided mod tools to the community.
Edit to add: I just think it's hilarious than an MMORPG is being compared to a SPRPG. But what's even funnier is that when you really get to it, it's a legit comparison

We need support, but it is almost suicide to try to get it here as we are swept by machine gun fire and a constant barrage is on us. I have no one on my left and only a few on my right. I will hold." It really is a tricky comparison when the OP mentions "in the end". I would think Skyrim's later DLC and player mods could actually surpass TOR's updates and expansions faster. But then again theres only so many nudity/ companion mods that...oh hell, who am I kidding.
Skyrim + 4 player Co-Op + Borderlands type of loot = WIN
Unfortunately the only way I can play with my friends will be with TOR. I'll still buy Skyrim but I won't be playing as much compared to TOR.
It also depends on when TOR will be coming out, for all I know Skyrim will come out first and give me more than enough time to finish it before TOR releases.

Well, I think it comes down to which game will be more enjoyable, not which game has the potential for the most content.
Either game could have years of content and still not be the front runner.
As others have said, they are both different games.
And though I have preordered both I will be spending much too much time in Skyrim. Others who answered the poll probably thought the same.
Like Skyrim? Need more content? Try my Skyrim mod "Godfred's Tomb."

Looking at the past Elder scrolls game and just the massive amount of 'content' the community can produce (and still do after 6+ years later), Skyrim is probably going to be untouchable from a pure 'raw content' point of view.
Gdemami - Informing people about your thoughts and impressions is not a review, it's a blog.
I'd say skyrim just because of all the Non-repeatable/Dungeon raids that will be in SWTOR and not Skyrim. Sure you can venture into any dungeon you want, but Todd Howard said there were hundreds (no specific number sorry) of dungeons in Skyrim, not to mention all the off quests, main quests and the huge open world. Plus with all the dlc's and a few expansions I think I will be spending A LOT more time on skyrim.
Skyrim will have more content and replayability because of the modding community. SWTOR will eventually slow down or always be slow with the content and eventually stop once ot goes free to play within a year. Even without the mods, you get more content for your money. 50 dollars +180 for subscribing the whole year + cash shop for TOR. 50(or 60 if you're getting on the console for some reason) + DLC for Skyrim.
I mean lets be real here, mod communities are much better at actually doing things than dev teams.

If we're going to "be real" here, then a good 75% of your post needs to be discarded as being wild, baseless speculation.

If I had to choose only one..
Skyrim. Probably going to match hours of game play, give you a lot more customization, and not have a monthly fee.
I used to play MMOs like you, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

"LOL"
Skyrim is Single Player
Swtor is Multi Player
They share nothing in common but both are RPG.
One plays Single or Multi games for totally different reasons, whats to compare with?

Which one will keep your ass in a seat and be enjoyable.
Neither comapres with pron I guess.

Personally i will stay clear from Skyrim.

Mind you, I STILL play Oblivion (just played it yesterday) and have a stupid amount of mods running.
But I plan to play both Skyrim and SWTOR for many happy years to come.
It's a great time to be a gamer
