Did you lay out all the details for her? That you get 3month sub and $75 worth of game shop items? That's $120 right there. Plus, if you consider the time spent on Alpha as play time, that's $15 a month for that. All of a sudden it's not a bad deal.
That having been said $150 is A LOT of cake to shell out up front... maybe you could tell her some details and show her the value.. be like, "you know, I was thinking about AA again, and adding up the costs...."??

I had a problem with the game crashing at loading screen, then ran it as administrator and it was fine , you could try that.
The error message i am getting is "Awesomium.dll is missing from your computer,Try re installing the program to fix this problem". I have tried removing every trace of the game and installing it again several times to no effect. I also tried tech support to no avail. This is my first time being unable to resolve an install issue with an MMO and its pretty annoying. Im on the verge of trying to get a refund.

Wife agro is the worst. Use your highest level charm spell on her before you give her your very sincere schpeel.

the game is actually a free game and when you start you will see its not a AAA game but a cheap AA game but its ok I personally will not spend money on it,same goes for blade and soul played them both and they are cheap imports.
you should have bought dark souls 2 or waited for EQN or bough a cheap ps3 and played destiny in September.
I was lucky enough to be chosen as alpha tester so hurray :-)...my experience with game is more than great. Maybe its sad but I didnt play better MMO since WoW vanilla
once I read in the FAQ that alpha servers would run 24/7 even between beta "events" I just had to go for it. Can't believe I'll finally get to play this in a couple hours.

Sorry you cannot afford the $150.00, i understand that its a lot of money for some. For me it was a B-day present. because i am old and my one hobby in life is playing MMO's my wife knew i was excited about AA and she saw the advertisement on massively, so she pulled the trigger, and i am in candy land now.
Fact of the matter is when i saw the Ad for the $150.00 Package i almost bought one for myself before my wife popped the surprise on me, the added value of everything i get on top of Alpha and Beta access was worth every expensive cent to me.
Play the game when it is released and free to you, i will be subbed to this game, i will probably spend cash in the cash shop on top of that. But that's MY money, and i will do with my disposable income as i see fit, i am sorry if you do not feel compelled to spend money on a game you enjoy.
Hope to see you on release when its free for you to enjoy it. I will support the game even if others won't.

Umm after playing for 7 hours straight and only getting up once so i did not pee my pants... your opinion is just that .. yours, to me this game is simply amazing. It is a AAA MMO and better then so many other high budget MMO's.
This game has brought back that sense of wonder i have long since lost. Last game to really instill that awe, and want to explore and look at all the sights was DAoC.
I get that your not a fan of Asian styled MMO's, i have dark souls 2, its not an MMO to me and it does not have the type of game style i prefer in an MMO.

It was crazy packed last night - Made a new Hari character (already have a nuian) - so wanted to see how busy it was on the eastern continent - SO many players Lol.
I think Trion is very happy right now.
One tip for older Nvidia cards - run the game in DX9 mode - it will keep your GPU running cooler, in DX11 my GTX460 runs crazy hot, and the game performs choppy.
For people that got the $149 Founders Pack that gives you access to Alpha is the alpha open 24 / 7 until beta? Also does anybody know how long before the alpha goes into beta? Thx

Yes alpha is 24/7 and will continue till launch; beta will be in June (maybe) and it will be carried out with weekend events on separate servers from the alpha crew.
lol why not save 150 dollars and just play AA RU??? I am playing the RU version and having a blast with the english patch installed. Saving my 50-100 dollars for a flat out sub whent he game releases seeing as the only cool thing you get with founder pack are the armor and the glider. The glider has a similar craftable version as well so really nothing special about these founder packs other then a title which you can also get titles with better stats in game and the 4 day head start.
So basically the only real offer here with founders pack is a 4 day head start. I am not too worried about starting 4 days behind either way since I know what I will be doing in game class/tree wise and end game wise. Ill save my money ;p

It is 22.8 gigs, so yes it is big. Also in the first 2 hours it is rather slow DL, give it time and it really picks up steam.
