That is so funny & lame at same time but can't expect much from them, they are desperate badly.
They should be disqualified for that, period !
I don't think they should be disqualified because I don't see any rules saying this is not allowed...
Anyway, they're still commenting, on their forum, that our devs sent an email on the 24th and made a topic on the forums. Which is bullshit, they did neither.
Is still weak and disrespectful to do that/post on your client, TSW was at 50,5% before they did that.. so yeah !
It's looks like We (ESO/ESO fans) will win but if i have to choose the biggest winner of this competition i would choose TSW community. TSW is a very lucky game with such players. Hugs, sweet rolls and mudcrab cakes for you.
PS. And don't be mad because some of us, we are mostly quite nice guys.

People will be very disapointed but from my experience with the TSW community there won't be many of us holding it against you lot! Most of you were awesome throughout the voting process! (IT's also not over yet!!! /glare )

Like that guy said a few tabs ago, it's perfectly fine since it garners the most reasonable size from which to vote. If you ever took statistics in high school, you'll remember, inferential statistics aside, to get the most accurate result, you need the largest sample size you can get. The more the people, the more it minimizes the core zealots who are on both TSW and ESO and voting with multiple accounts.
You want the average player base and this is the best way to do it. It's no different than TSW production and its players posting this poll in just about every forum and segment I can find.
Remember the rule about pointing, you have three fingers pointing back at you.
Why are the toons in the back topless, oh yeh, ze bra is in the foreground.
Merry Christmas everyone, isn't it nice to have more than one game that people like enough to vote for.
MMORPG.com - great job of getting your name around - when the devs put your name on their launchers you are doing something right
Playing: Darkfall New Dawn (and planning to play Fallout 76) Favourite games have included: UO, Lineage2, Darkfall, Lotro, Baldur's Gate, SSX, FF7 and yes the original Wizardry on an Apple IIe
Thank you all for voting, whether it be for ESO, TSW, LOTRO, or EVE- The MMORPG.com community is lucky to have such fans of great games coming to their site and voicing their opinion. This is the final push for all four of these games- and no matter who is chosen, I am proud of the community efforts by all to keep this competitive, but clean, and doing their best to adhere to Wheaton's Law. We're honored to have gotten this far, and we'll be honored if we win
If you haven't, you should try all of these games in the final 4. Most offer some way to play before you give any sort of money, and I am sure many of their community members will help you with getting a preview of them. Thanks again to MMORPG.com for hosting the contest, it has been quite fun!

No end game, repetitive skills, very poorly implemented PVP, aside for tokyo (which took forever), no real future and advancement on the game, small limited world with too many walls...
But some quests were well written and the story was the one thing that stood out. Your opinion is an opinion and I respect it. However, after playing both games for as long as I have, I have to honestly ask. Have you played them both to their full extent?
"TSW>ESO soooo hard" appears a bit sophmoric, but it begs to question, are the strongest opinions likely to be from people such as this? I honestly hope not.

This!
I'm not going to play LOTRO again (PvP issue ): ), but I have EVE/TSW/ESO all installed. Just need to patch TSW /EVE up.
All things considered, even the devs consider this poll pretty important. And that's saying a lot in my opinion.
---Also completely unrelated... also having a blast in Lineage 2 again lmao.
also about repetitive skills: there are quite a lot of build variations. they could be not completely optimal but they will work for you if you'll take time and think, also with recent change to impairhinder mechanic in PVE, there's even wider variety of ability combinations ^^
For those in ESO who didn't insult us and who are just honestly voting for the game they love, all the best! We're still going to fight till the last moment, but I refuse to believe ill of an entire community because of a few loud bad apples. You are ALWAYS welcome to come check out the game and if you need any assistance, I'll try to help or direct you to people more competent than I am! (I'm mostly on Chroi In-game. Oneiropolos exists, but I don't play her as much).
Both sides have made each other work for it this round.
I dont think either ESO and TSW will win against LoTRO.
If TSW wins then I can see many people voting for LoTRO just so TSW loses. And the same if ESO wins many people will vote LoTRO just so ESO loses. In the end it will be pointless.
I will say this about TSW, it has great investigation missions which is a first for an MMO. I have never played one that weaves in-game and out-of-game content as well as TSW, that, the great stealth missions and the lore make TSW a winner in my books. The reason TSW has no crime system btw can be simply explained as you being part of a secret society that is more-or-less above the law.

This is undoubtedly going to be true. The fights right now are really the last 'true' battles. There's been way too much vindictiveness this semi-final for the final to be anything but a 'vote against' as opposed to 'vote for'. It's unfortunate, but it's human nature.

That's been the common issue with ESO since it's announcement. Fans of the TES series and MMO fans wanted the game to fail so badly. This group is what cause the most problems. It's the same thing in polls, you don't so much as vote for the game you want to succeed but for the game you want to fail the most only instigated by vindictiveness and fanboi behavior I've been seeing here.

EVE
ESO - Had a bad start but has improved a lot over the past few patches with more to come.
Because LOTRO is better..
rpg/mmorg history: Dun Darach>Bloodwych>Bards Tale 1-3>Eye of the beholder > Might and Magic 2,3,5 > FFVII> Baldur's Gate 1, 2 > Planescape Torment >Morrowind > WOW > oblivion > LOTR > Guild Wars (1900hrs elementalist) Vanguard. > GW2(1000 elementalist), Wildstar
Now playing GW2, AOW 3, ESO, LOTR, Elite D
And your character is not a ship.

Well, that escalated quickly ;-)
Vote is now on the TSW launcher too.
And I happen to know who's to blame for that # Blametomium XD
