    While you're here, quick question. How many of these threads from the OP do we need? I would tend to think one is enough. All the OP is doing, is riling up the community with every one. I really don't see how he is adding anything else to any discussion.

    I'm new here and took a brief browse through his post history, and it's plain to see. Like I said, one thread is enough.

    Please respect someone elses opinion of the game even if it differs greatly from your own. It is perfectly okay to discuss how someone else plays the game, i.e. questioning their style, giving advice, etc. But do not make it a personal attack on the user. This thread has done well to stay within those confines thus far. Please continue to do so.

    Dude, differing opinons are fine, of course. But thread after thread of nothing but blatant misinformation, CLEARLY designed to incite a flame-war, and / or discourage new players??
     
     
    A "flame war" takes 2 parties. This is one of the things that amaze me about forums. I have observed an interesting phenomenon where people will claim a thread or topic is pointless/trolling/flaming but are somehow compelled to keep posting within the thread, thereby attracting even more attention to the thread by keeping it near the top.
    The point is "flame wars" could be avoided easily if the people calling others "trolls" etc all day didn't mysteriously keep feeding them.

    Harvesting doesn't give you quickness, some would argue the value of quickness but hitting trees and rocks definitely gives more str/vit. Do you hit mostly trees or rocks?

    I never made a personal attack on the OP, I'm not even sure who you are referring to. Also I find it impossible to believe that after reading through his post history, you can't see how he has been baiting people on these forums. Playing innocent and carefully trying to not step over the edge isn't enough to fool me.

    However if this kind of behaviour is permitted on these forums, who I am to tell you what to do. It's your site not mine.

     

    Darkfall doesn't advertise on this site.

    As for quickness, I seem to get plenty just from sprinting around and riding a mount.

    This type of misdirection might have worked before the $1 trial but it doesn't work now.

    Yeah.....ok. Look, it's OBVIOUS that you and a couple others around here would just LOVE to scare off potential players by making them think that the game is grind 24/7, or swimming into walls for day, etc.

    However, thread after thread of this nonsense is FULL of people who actually play the game (and many of us for a good long time) telling you that this is simply not the case. Many of us have gone so far as to give you advice to help you develop your character FASTER than the methods you claim you "must do".

    You hve chosen to play the game in an....odd manner. But you don't HAVE to play it that way. Trying to convince others that the game must be played in your strange way is kinda weak...and a bit trollish....especially when you claim that vets trying to be helpful are "misdirecting".

    I'mm step up right now and say this: if anyone is "misdirecting" around here, it's you.

    People ALWAYS go to a game's forums to whine and cry. This is true of virtually any MMORPG.

    Just because there are a few people who like to cry for attention, and demand that the game be changed to suit them, does not mean that there is any actual fault with the game's mechanics.

    AND...from my experience, which covers a LOT of these games, over the course of many years....people ALWAYS bitch about the "grind" in ANY GAME.

    I think you completely missed the point. If the grind wasn't an issue like fanboys would have us all believe, would there really be such a large amount of threads on the official forums based on the "horrible grind"? How can you say he's misdirecting when there are so many people that share the same viewpoint?

    btw "How do I unsubscribe?" made me laugh
